In the accounting department, all fiscal aspects of the agency take place. These functions include: accounts Payable / Receivable, Inventory, Payroll Processing, Employee Benefits and the fiscal accounting for all contracts. CUI utilizes a computerized accounting system to handle all of the fiscal data and reporting. The Accounting software that is being used by CUI was created by American Fundware, and is especially designed for Not-For-Profit organizations. The program’s multiple functions include: General Ledgers, Allocations, Budgets, Cash Receipts, Cash Disbursements, Labor, Purchasing and Payroll.
