Program DirectorAngel Saldivar
CUI has a total of Seven (7) Child Development centers that are located in the areas of Imperial, Riverside and San Diego counties. The funding source is through the State Department of Education/ Child Development Division. They are referred as State General State Preschool and State Migrant Programs. They provide services to all qualified families and children from infancy through five years of age that are under the income guidelines provided by the different State programs.
EducationThe goal of this program is to provide an environment for children that is educational safe, nurturing and positive. The learning center, materials and equipments are child oriented and safe.
Parent InvolvementParents are provided educational, nutritional, medical, dental, mental health and social services, training and information. Parent meetings are scheduled every month, allowing parents to be more aware of the life of their children at the center.
HealthEach child receives a daily health inspection. A child appearing to be ill or becoming ill during the day will be sent home.
StaffThe staff is carefully selected for their educational background, early childhood teacher training, professional experiences, and for their loving personality.
